RSS Feeds from TicketWarehouse.com

Here at Ticket Warehouse, our mission is to help you find tickets to any event in the United States. To that end, we have created RSS feeds for containing up to date ticket availability and scheduling information for every event and venue in our database. By subscribing to any of these feeds, you can easily keep up to date on the schedules of your favorite sports teams and artists, and even have easy access to the schedule for your favorite local venue.

This page has been set up to address some of the most common questions related to the use of the RSS feeds on this site, and in general. If you have additional questions that are not addressed on this page, please let the webmaster via e-mail at webmaster@ticketwarehouse.com

What is an RSS Feed?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and RSS feeds contain information - on our site, schedules - that can be read and processed in different ways by different software applications. For example, if you subscribe to the RSS feed for a concert venue in your area using the Feed Reader in Windows Vista, you would be able to view a list of upcoming concerts. If you subscribe to the same feed using Mozilla Firefox, you would have an always up to date list of links to bands that are scheduled to appear at the venue.

How do I view the RSS feed data?

The information contained in our RSS feeds mirrors the schedule data shown elsewhere on the page. To view the actual RSS feed, simply click the orange RSS icon next to the words RSS Available in the Subscribe/Bookmark section on the left side of the event or venue web page. Your browser should then display the data contained in the feed. Please note, however, that when you view the feed in your browser additional formatting may be added to make the information easier to read.

How do I subscribe to the RSS Feed?

There are a variety of software applications and web sites designed to manage the information contained in RSS feeds such as the feeds on our web site. Many users have accounts with web sites that process the feed data. We include links on the pages that have a feed available to many of the most common web sites, and adding the feed to one of those sites is as easy as clicking the appropriate button.

To add the feed to your web browser, simply click the RSS icon at the top of your browser window, in or near the address bar. Both Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox support RSS feeds.

Unfortunately, we can't provide specific instructions for adding feeds to desktop applications or readers, but the software should include detailed instructions regarding how to add feeds such as ours to the program.
