Poison is a glam metal band which originally achieved popular success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Poison's music is characterised by straightforward melodies and catchy guitar riffs.The group formed in 1984 under the name Paris. In 1985, they began playing Los Angeles clubs and the release of their debut album, Look What the Cat Dragged In, quickly followed in 1986.
