Flickerstick Tickets
Flickerstick is an alternative rock band from Texas formed in 1997. They self released their first CD, Welcoming Home the Astronauts, after playing a series of local concerts. The CD was picked up by Billboard, with selections included on Billboard's Best Unsigned Bands compilation CD.
Shortly after the release of the compilation CD, Flickerstick was invited to audition for VH1's reality series "Bands on the Run." Although most of the series focused on internal drama within the various bands, Flickerstick concentrated on their craft and finally won the competition. They were later signed to a major label and their debut CD was re-released.
Flickerstick continues touring and recording, and released their sophomore album in 2004.
