Ticket Warehouse Privacy Policies

Ticket Warehouse takes the protection of customer information very seriously. Although it is not possible for any web site to promise that information is 100% secure, we are constantly working to protect our customer's privacy and the security of the information that we collect. So that our customers know what information we collect and why, as well as some of the steps we take to protect personal information, we have created this document.

If you have questions or concerns regarding this statement, you should contact William Eldridge at webmaster@ticketwarehouse.com.

Security Practices

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

All data containing personally identifiable information that is sent to or from this server is encrypted using 256-bit Secure Socket Layer Encryption, and our site is evaluated regularly to test for potential vulnerabilities. More information can be found on our Security page.

Information Collection and Use

Personally Identifiable Information is collected in several areas of the site including site registration, online purchase, newsletter subscription, and contact us pages. We collect information such as name, address, email address, credit card information, and phone number depending on the area of the site that choose to share your information with us. See information below regarding optional and required data collection.

Required and Optional Data Collection

Our server logs all requests made to this web site for security reasons. This is an automatic process, and it is not possible to opt out of this collection. Our registration form is optional. It is not necessary to register to use this site. However, it is necessary to register on the site if you wish to make an online purchase. Customers who do not want to submit contact information via the web are given information to contact a representative by telephone during normal business hours to complete their transaction.

Required Data Collection
We do collect limited information from all users. This information is limited to the IP address of visitors to this site, and is recorded only for troubleshooting and analysis of the web site. Because this information is recorded automatically by the server, it is not possible to opt out of the collection of this information.

Optional Data Collection
We use several forms to collect optional information from users. Users have the option of registering on this web site, which allows them to place orders online, and enables the user to receive newsletters. Registration is not required to use the web site, and when registering users can opt not to receive e-mails from us. Users that prefer not to enter information via the web to place orders have the option of calling a representative during regular business hours to place an order over the telephone. In order to create a profile, you must first complete the registration form and create a user name and password. During registration you are required to provide contact information (name and email address). We use this information to contact you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest, if you opt in to receive such updates.

Orders
If you purchase tickets from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

Communications from the Site

Newsletters
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe. Users must opt in to receive newsletters, and can opt out of receiving newsletters at any time by updating their profile or replying to the newsletter e-mail, or even by contacting us directly via e-mail or telephone.

Service-related Announcements
We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. You may not opt out of receiving these critical service updates.

Customer Service
In order to provide you with the best possible service, we send certain mandatory e-mails, such as a welcome e-mail when you register with our site, and order confirmation messages when you place an order through our site. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account.

Cookies

This web site makes use of temporary cookies to maintain login information and to manage user shopping carts. These cookies expire immediately when the browser window is closed. The cookies contain a temporary ID code that is linked to a session ID located on our server that holds transactional information. This temporary ID and all associated data is deleted after 30 minutes of inactivity. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Data access and correction by users
Users can review, edit and correct the personal information that they have submitted to the site by logging in to the web site, and clicking the edit profile link.

Employee Access to Personal Information
Personal information is only available to Ticket Warehouse employees on a need to know basis. When a transaction is processed, the personal information such as credit card and shipping information will be made available only to the employee who is processing the transaction. If you have opted in to our newsletter, your e-mail address will be made available to the staff member who is sending the newsletter. Also, if a problem is encountered on the web site, information such as IP address or browser version may be visible to technical personnel for the purpose of correcting the problem.

Data Access by Service Providers
We use other third parties to provide billing and shipping services on our site. We will share shipping and billing information with those service providers as necessary for the third party to provide that service. For example, if an order is placed, credit card information (credit card number, expiration date and billing address) and shipping information (contact name and shipping address) may be provided to a credit card processing company or to a shipping company to facilitate the processing of the placed order. These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose including their own marketing purposes.

Other Third Party Access to Data
Ticket Warehouse does not share, sell, rent, or trade personally identifiable information with third parties for their promotional purposes. No stored data is ever sold, traded or provided to any outside entity, except to fulfill the purpose it was provided for, as covered above in the "Data Access by Service Providers" section.

Data Retention

We have different policies for different types of collected information.

Session ID Codes, Cookie Data:
Cookies are set to delete as soon as a visitor closes their browser. The associated data stored on our server is deleted within 30 minutes of the visitor leaving the site.

Log Data:
We automatically collect information about traffic to and from our web site using log files on the server. Information stored in our logs, including user IP addresses, request information and other related information, is stored for two weeks. This information is cleared when our logs are rotated. Logged information is deleted within 14 days. The only exception to this policy is if, in the event of a problem on the server, the logs must be archived to resolve the issue. Once the issue is corrected, those archived logs will be destroyed. Personally identifiable information is not linked to the log files.

User Registration and Profile Information:
User profiles are stored on the server until the user cancels the registration. This can be done by going to the profile page and clicking the delete option. All user profile data related to that user will be permanently removed from the server within five minutes.

Transaction Information:
Information about purchases made by users will be stored on our server for as long as the user account is active. If a user account is deleted, transaction records are maintained for six months from the date of the transaction, then the record is deleted from our database. Please note that financial information is NEVER stored on this server. Credit card information is relayed to a fax system and never written to the hard drives on the server.

Legal

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

Notification of Change

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the home page, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on our home page.

Conflict Resolution

In the event there is a problem with one of the listed policies, or you wish to have retrieved information deleted, corrected or changed, you may contact a customer service representative at the telephone number listed on our contact page or by calling the telephone number listed at the top of this page.
