Nine Inch Nails, abbreviated as NIN, and typeset with the last N backwards, was founded by Trent Reznor in Cleveland, Ohio in 1988.
To date, Nine Inch Nails has released only four full albums, Pretty Hate Machine in 1989, The Downward Spiral in 1994, The Fragile in 1999 and With Teeth in 2005. However, Nine Inch Nails has released, to date, eighteen singles. This also does not include the remixes and associated works that Nine Inch Nails includes with each of their singles.
Every major release by Nine Inch Nails has gone platinum or better.
