She Wants Revenge is an indie rock band hailing from Los Angeles, California. The band's sound is a mixture of indie, goth, and dance. They've drawn strong comparisons to Joy Division, an important influence; but have also drawn influences from a host of other bands, significantly Depeche Mode & New Order, with some similar sounds and tones of The Sisters of Mercy.
The band got its big break in 2005 when its single "Out of Control" received significant airplay on local radio stations and quickly became the number-one song played on the stations. Its follow-up, "These Things," has shown great popularity at Yahoo! Music and was entered into the Artist of the Month contest there. "Tear You Apart" has received great fanfare for both its music video and catchy, fast-paced beat.
