Lori McKenna is a folk singer and songwriter from Massachusetts. She began writing songs at the age of 27, performing her original compositions at open mike nights around Boston. Eventually, McKenna began headlining her own shows. In 1998, she released her debut album, Paper Wings and Halo.
In 2005, Lori came to national attention when Faith Hill recorded covers of four of her songs, three of which were included on Hill's album, Fireflies.
