Joe McIntyre is a singer, songwriter and actor. He is best known as the youngest member of the 1980s-1990s group New Kids On The Block. After the band broke up in 1994, McIntyre began searching for a record label. Unable to find a label, he self-released his debut album, Stay the Same. He took the title track from the album as a first single and brought it door to door to local DJs, finally getting the single national airplay. Finally, Sony signed Joe and released the album, which quickly sold over a million copies.
