Steve Harvey is a comedian, actor and radio personality from Ohio. He began his comedy career in the mid eighties, culminating in a long tenure as the host of Showtime at the Apollo. His popularity led to his being offered his own show, The Steve Harvey Show, which ran from 1996 to 2002.
After The Steve Harvey Show ended, Harvey went on tour with Cedric the Entertainer, Bernie Mac and D.L. Hughley in the Kings of Comedy tour. He also appeared in several films and television shows, and has become a staple on BET.
