Elektra Tickets
Elektra is a one act opera by Richard Strauss which premiered in 1909. The opera is based on the Greek tragedy of the same name by Sophocles. The primary theme of Elektra is revenge, after Clytemnestra and her paramour Aegisthus arrange the murder of Clytemnestra's husband, Agamemnon, and try to hide their guilt from her children, Elektra, Chrysothemis and Orestes.
